Responsible for the Development program for MDHA which includes the financing, construction and stabilization of new multi-family housing, schools, municipal centers, structured parking and large civil projects. Also responsible for the capital planning and maintenance for roughly 6000 existing multi-family units. Supervises a team of architects, project managers, field inspectors and financial analysts.

Provides high level management, oversight and control of complex housing and development programs and activities for MDHA in the geographic location of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee. Driving a new model of mixed-income and mixed-use development in some of the more challenging communities in Nashville.

Supervised the functional Directorates of a large organization with fourteen direct report supervisors. Responsible for the daily execution of staff operations focused on serving the nations needs. Achievements include● Prepared and deployed 14 direct report supervisors and their staff (total of 460 US personnel) to Iraq to form the command and core of a Coalition Force of 19 countries (10,000 members strong) to defeat ISIL ● Primary adviser to the CEO (Commander) on all operational, strategic and logistical staff actions ● Lead manager on $780 million annual budget and lead adviser on fiscal increase requirements● Advised and managed all support, expenditures and physical security for 9 coalition municipalities ● Primary liaison with Department of State mission support element in Baghdad, effectively and efficiently maintaining the flow of supplies, forces and contractors into the country● Organization recognized by US Secretary of Defense for unprecedented success in Iraq

Supervised the functional directorates of a major city: Directors of Public Works, Human Resources, Resource Management, Emergency Services (Law Enforcement, Fire, Access Control), Parks and Recreation, Equal Employment, Plans and Operations (including a major Airfield), Internal Review, Public Affairs, Strategic Planning, Safety, Community Support, Legal Support (Staff Judge Advocate), and Child care and Youth Services; staff and workforce of approximately 2500 personnel. Operations Director of a major Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) consisting of over 2500 Joint Special Operations personnel with responsibility for operations across all 51 countries within the US European Command region. Directs, supervises, and coordinates all aspects of training and operations to include current operations, crisis and contingency operations and plans, exercises, readiness, and sensitive activities. Develops strategy, operations, equipping, funding and activities for conducting Partnership Development of NATO and other European Special Operations Forces for employment in contingency operations and war. Responsible for preparing and deploying the TSOC to conduct the core tasks of Unconventional Warfare, Counter-terrorist operations, Foreign Internal Defense, Direct Action, Special Reconnaissance, Counter-Proliferation and information Operations.

Commanded and trained the 101st Airborne Division Special Troops Battalion, consisting of a Task Force of over 1650 soldiers. Responsible for tactical equipment valued over $200 million dollars. Conducted full-spectrum security force operations across two Afghan Provinces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for security engagement with Afghan Provincial leadership and tribal elders. Supported tactical communication networks for the entire country of Afghanistan. Responsible for the security of Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Provided administrative command and control of the Combined Joint Task Force-101 Headquarters.

Operations Officer for a deployed Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force. Supervised all Task Force's operations, current and strategic, on continuous 24hr. schedule. Synchronized over 1000 combat operations by 42 subordinate operational elements, to include coordination of rotary and wing support, fires, and reconnaissance assets. Set the conditions for tactical success and deconflicted Special Operation Forces missions with the Multi-national Corps (Iraq) and Multi-national Division staffs. Collaborated on the Task Force Campaign Plan, the Air Component of Iraqi Special Operations Forces, the organizational structure of the Iraqi National Counter Terrorist structure, and the Iraqi Special Operations Staff within the Ministry of Defense.

Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General, US Army Special Operations Command that supervises the readiness of 26,000 Army Special Operations Forces personnel. Assisted the Commander in coordination for Special Mission Units, all Army Special Operations programs and activities, and the Special Operations Support Command. Coordinated the Commander's itineraries, travel, and secure and standard communication methods to ensure the Commander attended critical events and remained in contact with his staff.

Operations and Training officer for the 1st Special Warfare Training Group, responsible for the training management and support for over 13,000 US inter-service military students annually in 65 resident course located in four states. Planned, developed, and executed the Special Forces Qualification Course Transformation, the first major change to Special Forces training in 50 years. Managed the largest output of Special Forces soldiers annually in Special Forces history, exceeding anticipated requirements over two years. Instituted pilot programs for language training and developed systems to track student load, transportation, and instructor rotations. Coordinated air support, ammunition, training areas, and all external support. Exercised staff supervision over all US military inter-service training support agreements.

Commander of the US Military Free Fall School, comprised of 103 inter-service special operations personnel and government civilians. Responsible for conducting Military Free Fall qualification and instructor qualification. Trained 900 students annually from allied and US government agency personnel. Assisted US Special Operations Commands in the development and oversight of operational safety procedures and publications involving military free fall. Successfully advocated for more accurate and safer tactical free fall equipment, communicated the requirement, and procured the equipment for Military Free Fall, setting the equipment standard for the US Special Operations Free Fall community.

Assistant Professor, Department of Social Science for core undergraduate course in International Relations and one of three capstone politics courses, International Security Seminar, offered only to International Relations majors. Responsible for teaching over 120 cadets per year, to include lesson planning, test design, and student evaluation and counseling. Prepared and presented a peace-keeping study at the International Studies Association annual conference. Served as a professional mentor for the USMA Honor Mentorship Program, the Senior Leadership Development Program, and the Values and Ethics Training Team.
