I am a specialist litigator whose practice includes commercial and contract litigation, public law and regulatory proceedings, environmental litigation, property disputes, and sports law. I regularly appear at all levels of New Zealand's courts, in domestic and international arbitrations, and in some Pacific jurisdictions. I hold a Master of Laws from Yale Law School and have been awarded a Doctor of Juridical Science by the University of Toronto. My research focuses on the tort of nuisance, and interface of tort law and climate change. I also write on other topics including constitutional law and civil procedure.
