A member MIS leadership team, reporting to the Vice Principal of Corporate Services, the role has strategic and operational responsibility for all academic areas relating to the delivery of the timetable, register and rooming provision within Bradford College including conceiving, implementing and monitoring the e-timetable and register provision and reporting directly on the impact of the provision for the College. This role has placed me in a position of authority, trust and leadership whilst delivering the essential service of electronic timetables and registers to enable the College to utilise the resulting data to formulate staffing proficiency procedures, create academic teaching programmes and comply with UKBA requirements. Key representative for the Unit with all cross sector stakeholders to provide an efficient delivery of provision including regular meetings with all Programme Areas to assess requirements.Project Support Officer on all timetable software related issues including a solution partnership with Tribal Software.Software installation, upgrade and maintenance.Creation, promotion and delivery of software training to Academic staff and team members including the production of guidelines and process manuals.Operational oversight of centralised timetable, schedule and register provision – liaising with departments and delivering regular timetable/register reports to senior management.Responsibility for allocation of general teaching areas to academic departments ensuring optimum utilisation and suitability. Line management – team of four Student Tracking Unit (STU) officers, ensuring consistent cover within the Unit and effective support for academic department staff and students and including appraisal and development of team and individuals.Member of senior management team – leading on strategic decision making in relation to College policy on registers and timetables, new build accommodation and room scheduling.
