Managing the football aspects of the Club,on behalf of the Chairman working closely with the First Team Manager and CEO, including:Responsibilities:• Reported directly to the Chairman, responsible for long term strategic planning and working closely alongside the CEO and the Manager.• Responsible for all Player recruitment, establishing a robust process for succession planning and to support decision making on signings• Created a robust and comprehensive Club Structure with defined processes and procedures, which supports current requirements as well as ensuring it will be Premier League ready.• Managed and accounted for the Football Operations multi-million pound budget, covering Football and Academy operations costs as well as player wages and transfer costs and ensuring that the Club was compliant with the Financial Fair Play guidelines• Set up the Academy to implement a long-term strategy of player development in order to ensure the longevity of the Club for its owner.• Managed the Training Ground, covering all aspects of planning, equipping & logistics of the relocation and operation.• Critical in the identification and interviewing process of the First Team Manager to ensure that the short-listed candidates fulfilled the criteria and would fit into the Club’s philosophy and values

Managing all aspects of Scouting, Talent Identification and player analysis:• To create and manage a Scouting and Talent Identification Department developing processes ensuring that all due diligence had taken place• To manage a team of Scouts in the UK and across Europe to systematically cover the players market and to follow set reporting, recommending and recording protocols• To develop a strategy for player recruitment at all ages based on player position specific profiles and the short term and long term requirements of the Manager and the Club• To work with the First Team Manager on opposition reporting giving all the support required in reporting and use of technology• To develop the Performance Analysis Department to support player recruitment, opposition analysis and player development• To put in place a highly organised process of Talent Identification for the Academy and Pre-Academy. Involving aggressively recruiting players from outside the local catchment area• To manage the budget for the Scouting and Analysis departments

• To scout, report on and make player recommendations from the London area• To provide opposition reports and analysis on first team opponents• To scout and identify potential 16-19 year old players around Europe• To provide video scouting reports on players from around the world as directed by the Scouting Manager.

To set up and manage a Scouting Department, Locally, Domestically and Internationally. Providing a pool of Talent for the Future of Fulham FC:• To manage a network an effective network of scouts for all aspects of the club.• To manage the departmental budget• To implement an online tool for player reporting using a set of agreed protocols within the club• To create a highly organised and professional scouting set up for the Academy which had continuity from pre-academy to the First Team involving agreed player profiles for all ages.• To actively scout and make recommendations

• To plan and deliver an elite multi-disciplined development program for the players in the U15 and U17 age groups.• To prepare the teams for participation for International Tournaments organised by the Asian Football Confederation, across Europe and for International friendly games.• To develop an international games program for the teams.• To direct training camps for the three age groups in both Barcelona and Leverkusen each season.• To scout within Qatar for the best Talents for the Aspire Academy• Involvement in the decision making process for the “Aspire Dreams” Talent Identification project in seven countries across Africa and to award scholarships to the Aspire Academy
