I am a CPA with Big 4 (Big 6 when I started) audit experience. My passion, though, is building financial models and operational spreadsheets that allow data to be processed much faster--I'm talking about weekly time savings of up to 8 hours. Your time can be spent reviewing what the data MEANS and TAKING ACTION with it, instead of just MOVING IT AROUND, and GETTING LOST in the details. I primarily use Microsoft Excel, using Visual Basic for Applications, Pivottables, Tables, and am learning the new PowerPivot for Microsoft Excel 2010, which has been touted by Excel insiders as the most significant piece of software Microsoft has released for business since Microsoft Excel itself.I also have decent experience with SQL server transaction language, so I can set up your Microsoft Excel system to DIRECTLY ACCESS most accounting databases, to pull data directly, without exporting and importing.
