Key role responsibility is to support Continental Development and Production Engineering as customer liaison for our client Ford Motor Company on Door Handle and Transmission Position sensors.* Provide regular assessments of customer satisfaction with respect to every Ford related products and services from Continental Mechatronic Sensor Modules subsegment.* Deal primarily with engineering and design related issues and act as liaison between the development center, productions sites, and the customer on a product by product basis. * Collect and provide technical, product, and program data analysis with respect to competitor activities at the customer related to current products and programs.* Provide in conjunction with business development team, recommendations to management with respect to short term and long term pricing and business strategies as well as provide input to both technical and pricing targets to the organization.* Support business development in the cost life, quotation, sales plan, change management, and claims processes.

* Full responsibility of all Ford Transmission Sensors related products within the manufacturing plant.* Ensure APQP and customer deliverables are being fulfilled (i.e., DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, Capability Studies, Control Plan, PPAP, etc.)* Coordinate completion of PPAP package per Ford requirements on every engineering change, new project or directed design changes.* Obtain PSW approval and final documentation from customer for each PPAP submitted.* Form part of the multi-disciplinary team for the continuous improvement of the production lines in charge.* Lead in determining root cause of nonconformances within programs of responsibility.

Representing CONTINENTAL at FORD Van Dyke Transmission plant location on Engineering and Quality related issues as well as liaison for other departments as necessary. Main activities/duties are:* Establish/Implement/Maintain customer communication.* Quality liaison between CONTINENTAL and FORD Van Dyke and Sharonville transmission plants. * Coordinate/Supervise/Participate on sorts and rework activities. * Provide relevant product issues information to CONTINENTAL manufacturing plant.* Lead in determining root cause of nonconformances within areas of responsibility.*Provide support to current resident engineer at FORD Livonia plant as required (Continental products overall related issues).*Review and analyze warranty returns from Chrysler Group LLC and Ford Motor Co., related to Door Handle Sensors.*Participate at on site meetings for monthly warranty reviews, as well as on problem solving meetings lead by the CQE on charge.
