Strata manufactures geogrid soil reinforcement as well as other products for the stabilization of soils in civil construction applications. Strata's manufacturing operations are located in the US and India with operations and sales in over 110 countries. David begin his Strata career as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He later added the title of Director of Business Development. For the first ten years Strata's sales team focused their time managing a large network of distributors, mostly segmental retaining wall manufacturers throughout the US. David's past experience and relationships in the retaining wall Industry proved to be very valuable in the growth of the company During the last 6 years David directed his efforts in entering the heavy highway construction industry with specialty products and systems applications. His efforts have increased the company's business by 40%. At the end of September David will be retiring from Strata and will be looking for other adventures.

Keystone Retaining Wall Licensee for North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia & Florida. The Keystone Group was the first to introduce segmental retaining walls in the Southeast. David directed the grass root efforts to develop this new company and industry. David managed sales, engineering, business development and manufacturing. Under David's direction the company became Strata Systems largest distributor in the world as well as the dominant retaining wall manufacturer in the southeast.

Charleston, South Carolina Area

Senior Regional Engineer for civil construction products. Provided technical support to regional civil/geotechnical engineers, department of transportation engineers, Corps of Engineers, land developers and contractors. Technical support included storm water design, geogrid reinforced roadway design and retaining wall/reinforced slope design.

Heavy Industrial Construction Company. Construction Manager for many projects including paper mills, chemical plants, textile plant relocation, resin paint facility, snack food manufacturing plants, sheet rock plants. fiber extrusion and high speed printing lines. David split his time between estimating/bidding projects and construction management. Other responsibilities included contract negotiations, materials procurement and project scheduling.
