The hospital reaches over 250,000 people a year.After several staff changes within the finance team I was recruited on a contract basis to assist with the internal and external year end requirements as well as to ensure the day to day finance functions were being met. This was a hands on fast pace role where I played a key part in the completion of the year end statutory accounts as well as ensuring the audit requirements were all met in time for the annual audit. I was also successful in Managing the day to day cash flow requirements including the responsibility of Managing the investment portfolio.

The role involved reporting to both local and Asia Pacific requirements.Key Achievements:Completed a series of timely analysis for several contracts comparing the actual results with the detail included in the respective tenders. Completed a series of cost analysis for HR as part of various EBA Contract negotiations.Built & maintained relationships with internal & external stakeholders.Involved in the due diligence during the acquisition stages of a interstate security comapane.

The Lead role for Finance in supporting both the Times Media (TM) and News Group Media (NGM) Marketing Director’s along with each of their Marketing Team (45 in total).The role was focused on monthly reporting and performance tracking of marketing spend for the four print media titles, The Times, Sunday Times, The Sun and News of the World as well as the two online websites, timesonline.co.uk and thesun.co.uk.Driving the budget and forecasting process for each department was key to the role in particular engaging with the Marketing Director’s and their teams on a daily basis. This role gave me the opportunity to develop further my presentation skills. I enjoyed being involved in conducting regular presentations and training sessions to the Marketing Teams.

This was a 4 month contract role which commenced during a period of high industrial action where airlines all over the UK were not being loaded with catering due to Gate Gourmet's suppliers stopping catering supply because they were not being paid. The main purpose of this role was to reconcile supplier accounts and ensure suppliers trading terms were once again met. This role involved working under internal and external pressures as well as to tight deadlines. The role was a success. I ensured supplier payment terms were reinstated and outstanding accounts were once again being paid when they fell due. This resulted in Gate Gourmet being put off STOP trade.
