Gentherm is a technology company who is a leader in thermal technology. We design, develop, and manufacture heating, cooling, and ventilating devices for diverse global markets. We lead the automotive market in pioneering thermal comfort products such as heated & cooled seating, heated steering wheels, heated & cooled cup holder, cool bin, interior surfaces. As a member of the Program Management team, I manage cross functional teams from business award through to launch, along with any mass production design changes that are required. With a focus on Fiat Chrysler, General Motors and Ford, I am able to be involved with most of Gentherm's automotive product offerings and support several of the industries top tier 1 suppliers.

Inoac Interior Systems is a leader in automotive trim components focusing on polyurethane foam. Products include instrument panels, trim panels, head rests, arm rests, BSR reduction foam parts and-sew-wrap parts. Inoac Interior Systems was created after the dissolution of the Intertec Systems joint venture (which I was a member of). I was transferred to Inoac Interior Systems in the role of Program Manager. In this role I had a dual purpose of managing design changes to mass production parts related to Ford and Honda, while managing a cross functional team from business award to launch for seating components for Toyota.

Intertec Systems was a joint venture company half held by Johnson Controls and half held by Inoac, chartered for the purpose of automotive instrument panel design, development and manufacture. My role on the Program Management team was to lead a cross functional team from business award through launch. Specifically, I focused on the development and launch of an instrument panel for Honda. Of particular interest is that after it was launched, I then focused on moving the manufacturing line to a new facility. For this project, I was responsible for coordinating all of the activities needed to prepare the facility for the equipment, build a bank stock of material, transfer the equipment and resume production without interruption of supply of parts to Honda. The effort was executed exactly to plan.

Managed IT projects regarding Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Worked as a design engineer in the Components Business Unit. Was responsible for designing automotive electrical connectors for wiring assemblies.
