Achieved the first corporate rank A audit result, for setting up Panasonic UK’s environmental test facility.Responsibilities have included:- Supervising the environmental compliance test laboratory- Lead auditor for corporate environment and quality controls (Europe and Asia)- Responsibilities for ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSA 18001 implementation, and BSI’s Continuing Assessment (Surveillance) audits- Member of the companies OHSA 18001:2001 introduction steering group- Carrying out departmental risk assessments- Developing internal company procedures, by interpreting both corporate and statutory requirements, for quality and environment regulations (QMS / EMS / RoHS / REACH)- Defining the inspection criteria and work instructions- Supervising inspection operators, and approving their documentation- Managing all material non conformances for local and overseas suppliers

Responsible for the quality and development of mechanical component suppliers.Responsibilities have included:- European Lead Supplier Auditor, for both quality and environmental systems- Educating suppliers on best business practice, to ensure continuous improvement- Data analysis using statistical techniques e.g. capability analysis- Manage customer - supplier relationships, to maximise quality performance

Managing the manufacture of prototype televisions, as part of Sony’s new product development.Responsibilities have included: - Manufacture of prototype television’s from bare PCB to finished product, utilising the department’s auto placement, hand mount, repair and adjustment capabilities- Manage staff, budget and equipment commissioning, for the manufacturing of audio-video consumer products- Developed departmental training matrix, delivering technical training packages, to new and existing staff- Produced problem reports on the new product, to allow process and product development
