With over thirty years of experience and education in turfgrass and agronomy, Dave Smith is a trusted leader in the field. Early in Dave’s career, he acted as a golf course superintendent and later a parks manager, until 1996 when he began his own agronomic and turfgrass consulting company: DCS Agronomic Services. Today, the company has grown to become DCS & Associates – a tight-knit team of agronomists and support staff operating out of Gravenhurst, Ontario. The team delivers a vast array of services to golf course superintendents, athletic field managers, landscape architects and specialty growers throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada. DCS imparts a holistic, all-factors-in approach to turfgrass management and offers budget-minded, goal-oriented, sustainable solutions.
