Write the World is a growing education nonprofit that’s served an international community of over 100,000 teenage writers and educators from over 125 countries. Its mission is to help young writers develop the writing, critical thinking, reading, and communication skills essential to become global citizens and achieve success in school, career, and life. • On the interactive website, educators create private writing groups for their classes and enjoy access to curricula, prompts, rubrics, and resources. • Students across the world enter monthly writing competitions, respond to stimulating prompts, publish and revise their work based on peer and expert reviews. • Students participate in intensive summer writing workshops and high school students sign up for assistance with their college application essays. These programs are supported by philanthropic contributions from foundations and individuals, government funding, and corporate sponsorship programs. We've published three books of exemplary student writing and publish online journals of the best writing on the website.
