Manage the Behavioral Economics and Policy Program and Economic Research Laboratory

Current and past projects include working with: the Governor's Office on a evaluation of all drug courts in Texas, the Texas Dept. of State Health Services on adolescent health projects, the Texas Indigent Defense Commission on caseload and Innocence Project reviews, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on adult education and literacy programs. Work includes: program evaluation and technical assistance, grant proposals and regular reports, survey design and quantitative analysis, regular evaluation calls, presentations across the state and coordination with project sponsors on evaluation design.

I coordinated and administered senior mobility services in six counties in the Brazos Valley. I wrote numerous grant proposals which were awarded planning funds from TxDOT. I coordinated and helped run meetings for the Regional Planning Organization housed at BVCOG.I also served as its representative at various transportation groups throughout the region. Previous planning work has included: media outreach, survey creation/dissemination, cost/benefit reports and and LEP Plan for BVCOG. Recent work included helping out on a proposal for a medical examiner's office here in Bryan.

I wrote briefs and memos outlining the water crisis facing the state. Along with staff, I discussed policy alternatives with members of the state legislature and their staff. I also participated in numerous media events throughout the state promoting our "Save Texas Rivers" campaign.

Instructed 20 students in one-on-one sessions. Planned lessons tailored to each student's ability. Three students then performed a concert at the end of the school year. Ages of students ranged from 4-55.

I opened the shop every morning. I made drinks, kept the shop clean, handled cash and provided excellent customer service. Sales increased for my shift during my time there.

I researched the effects of manufacturing job loss and gains in two rural communities. The report was done in conjunction with the University of Arkansas and UTSA.
