Over forty-year experience on Energy Systems engineering consulting, project management and business development, including Energy Control Centers (SCADA/EMS/ADMS), Smart Grids, Distribution and Substation Automation, Hydro Power Plants, and Telecommunications. Many Energy Control Center international projects in almost all LatAm countries & The Caribbean, USA, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Working since July 2018 for ESTA International as an Executive Consultant. In July 1995 joined Macro Corporation that was purchased by KEMA Inc. (now DNV GL) in the Philadelphia area, USA, and stay until March 2013, and again since February 2015 up to June 2018. Between April 2013 and January 2015 Mr. Caceres was appointed DNV GL Energy Brazil Country Manager, KEMA Brasil President & LatAm General Manager, residing in Rio de Janeiro and managing a broad services portfolio: Energy System Automation, Asset Management, Smart Grids, Substation Automation Owner Engineering, Power System Planning, Renewable Energy integration, etc. . Worked for several consulting firms between 1980 and 1995 including International Engineering Company (IECO) from San Francisco for the design, specification, procurement and implementation of diverse control, automation and telecom systems in Itaipu Hydro Power Plant (Brazil & Paraguay). Started in 1974 as a Project Engineer in ELECTROPERU - INIE in Lima, Peru.
