CurrentDavid qualified in 1983 and joined the practice in 1988, He stood down from his director role on 1st August 2019 and now offers a consultancy service on projects related to his particular skill set. As a director in the practice he was responsible for design leadership focussing on creative re-use primarily in connection with residential and community/arts sectors. As an over view of David's project work he led many projects as lead designer with awards attributed to; New Mills (for Renishaw plc) and Ebley Mill (for Stroud District Council), both with Niall Phillips Associates, Rosemoor Visitor Centre, At-Bristol Squares and Spaces, and Royal William Yard Clarence and Brewhouse. He has contributed to all the key creative re-use projects undertaken by the practice. His work on Canons Marsh through the At-Bristol project lead to a developed understanding and knowledge of master planning and urban design with significant contributions to this area of the practice’s work.
