Full responsibility for P&L and 75 employees including management. Responsible for transportation, LTL, Parcels, inventory, safety and production. Managed a 3rd party logistics company. In charge of Office Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Inventory Manager. Responsible for all inventory and reports sent to Prestige Brands. Opened this warehouse for P&G, Medteck account in charge of a Packing/Co-Packing Department VALUE MERCHANDISERS. Successfully maintained all three warehouses as a union free atmosphere. Took over two warehouses and opened one, managing three, and the one initiated, was profitable the first year.

Responsible for P&L, and all transportation contracts. Managed fully automated warehouse with over 200 employees. Lowered transportation costs and increased productivity substantially. Responsible for implementing a safety and sanitation program successfully. Opened this warehouse for AWG Grocers.

Responsible for perishable-dry receiving and shipping. Full P&L and transportation responsibility. Implemented new EXE in-house computer system, and trained all personal on the system. Responsible for the over the road receiving, shipping and weekly metrics for the division. Incorporated back hauls to create revenue. Managed inventory, routing, billing, hiring, firing and budgeting for entire warehouse. Managed 318 employees including superintendents, shift managers, dock supervisors, warehouse supervisors, inventory managers, lead supervisors, customer manager, warehouse associates, and billing/shipping clerks. Maintained a high standard of customer service. During my tenure at Fleming from 1983 to February 1997, I worked up in ranks from a Shipping Supervisor, Shift Manager, Warehouse Supervisor to Distribution Manager.
