David Calloway co-founded ImpactData in August of 2019, and serves as the firm's Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he supports the Company’s institutional vision while managing teams that oversee site selection, construction, maintenance, service delivery, and data center operations. He also leads the Company’s mixed-finance and public-private partnership strategies towards transformative outcomes across the range of stakeholders ImpactData serves. David began his career as a corporate attorney in the real estate and finance group of an AmLaw 100 global law firm. During his legal career, he helped originate, structure, and execute billions of dollars in transaction value across industry sectors and disciplines. A seasoned entrepreneur, David has spent nearly a decade as a mixed-use, mixed-finance real estate development operating partner, including business development, project implementation, operations management, deal structuring, capital raise, and mixed-finance transactions in urban markets nationally. His partnerships have resulted in millions in project funding and redevelopment including private debt and equity, CDBG and HOME funds, Choice Neighborhood Initiatives, grant awards, and New Market Tax Credit executions across housing, commercial, retail, education, hotel/hospitality, mission-critical, digital infrastructure, and community-focused product types. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Morehouse College, and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. He enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, friends and family. He also enjoys fishing, creative writing, music and guitars.
