I have been a coach and program director for 20 years both within my agency and with local, national, and international programs outside of it. I grew my program by over 500% in my time at my primary employer, initiated fundraising efforts that brought in almost $500,000 to the department and agency, and retained a staff with low turnover and consistent high performance in comparison to other agency departments. My efforts around the country and abroad have trained over 100 coaches, and I've networked in conferences and trainings with many more swimmers and professionals. My personal passion for the sport has included two solo English Channel swim crossings, numerous open water coaching and swimming endeavors, one Kona Ironman finalist, one Rio Paralympics finalist, and multiple state champion swimmers in both USA Swimming and USMS. After the closure of the primary site of my programming and management, I have balanced part-time coaching with my own business and Team Foxjets, with private instruction and management with Total Immersion SwimmingAwards- YWCA Legacy Award, USA Swimming Local Hero Award (2007), State of Minnesota Breaking Barriers Award, Minnesota Swimming Jerry Simpson Coaching Award
