Artist Manager for alternative rock band The K's and Music Industry professional with strong current contacts and a demonstrated history of working in the industry. Skilled in Artist Management, Music Business, Music Production, Songwriting, Art Direction, Video Storyboarding and production, artist contracts, release scheduling, timelimes / implementation and assembling marketing and promotional teams. I have an experienced background in artist Management within major and independent labels. Graduated from De La Salle Sixth Form College, Pendleton and gained a qualification in Sound Engineering and Principles of Sound at Openshaw Technical College, Manchester.I have 20+ years experience in the Music Industry, starting with 2 record and publishing deals as part of Manchester techno-rock pioneers Eskimos and Egypt. After 3 albums and touring with the likes of The Prodigy, Rammstein and Faith No More, I formed F.A.F as a music production company and produced and co wrote 2 international No1 singles and a UK top 5. F.A.F also produced and remixed for the likes of Moby, Sonique, Erasure, Rammstein, Cradle of Filth and Heather Small.After starting Shameless Management I managed Manchester band Kid British who signed to Universal Music and Emi Publishing and also Goldheart Assembly who signed to Fierce Panda/Cooking Vinyl. I became head of A&R at Manchester based MUK Records and now co-manage Warrington based alternative rock band The K's. In 2019 I was as part of a Manchester consortium who relaunched the defunct iconic music paper SOUNDS Magazine where I became Managing Editor. The first print edition of SOUNDS was available in May 2019. Alongside managing recording artists I currently teach Music Business, Live Events and Media at Degree / University level in Manchester.
