- New / Remodel construction - Specifically, early project construction which includes measuring, cutting and assembly of what is typically the framework for rest of the structure whether it be residential or commercial.- Read blueprints and diagrams to determine and prepare layouts.- Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.- Finish carpentry, such as installing interior and exterior trim, building stairs.- Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.- Act as a liaison between Contractor, Architect and local AHJ throughout construction.

Primary role as a Senior Job Captain is to manage, organize and plan the efforts of the design production team and provide technical leadership relating to quality contract documents.Supervise and manage the design team to ensure schedules are met and completed within budget.Deliver high quality construction documents that can easily be interpreted by local Authority Having Jurisdiction. (A.H.J.)Manage and establish city and/or state government criteria for permitting i.e. building, planning and zoning, fire, health and environmental.Target environmental compliance issues concerning storage and handling of hazardous materials.

Position involved traveling for verification of as built conditions on existing facilities i.e. Sam's Clubs and/or Walmart.Develop an Architectural "scope package" for "scope trip" per assigned project based on as builts, checklists and last updated Floor Plan provided from the Sam's Club division and/or Walmart.Generated proposed A1 Floor Plan based on the "scope" information compiled from the site visit to the facility.Coordinated all levels of construction with local A.H.J. codes and all appropriate disciplines to develop a quality set of construction documents and specifications.Answered R.F.I.s (Request for Information) from contractors to clarify issues and/or modify construction documents allowing construction to proceed. Modifications to any of the construction documents could be a Plan Revision, Addendum or Construction Change Documents depending on the phasing of the General Remodel.

Supervision of new facility construction and/or expansion of existing facilities including service centers both domestic and international.Evaluated and communicated final bids from contractors to to executive management for approval of all construction projects.Scheduled and coordinated daily logs for project activities throughout all phasing of projects.
