Participated in project planning and control, resource management, risk analysis, budget management, as well as presentation and production of project deliverables and management reports utilizing the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards. • Managed business analysis and requirement gathering sessions to document and re-design processes (where applicable) to support system design efforts.• Served as the technical liaison between end users and off-shore and domestic technical design teams to maintain business-IT alignment and client communication and tracking/resolution of issues. Project: US Virgin Islands Paternity and Child Support IT System Role: Senior Business Analyst Managed a team of ten (10) onsite and an offshore consulting team responsible for capturing business objectives / requirements and engineering business process modifications required to build a custom application upgrade to the existing Paternity and Child support system to meet Federal Certification Standards. Resulting in $2.0+ million savings per year. • Facilitated business requirements and GAP analysis sessions with 50+ business users to identify and resolve issues associated with the conversion from a mainframe-dumb terminal environment to a client server Oracle platform. Project: IT Strategic Plan Role: Senior Business Analyst Developed Strategic Enterprise Information Technology plan for The Georgia Department of Human Resources. This agency directive entailed a 4 billion dollar budget and over 16,000 employees. Participated in the review existing IT technology, platforms, and business processes across 20 departmental agencies to develop a formal strategic IT plan.
