David Capen is a political strategist and public affairs consultant with over a decade of experience at the federal, state, and local level. David serves as President of Capen Consulting, LLC, where he has amassed a winning record in political consulting, strategic communications/marketing, fundraising, and public relations. David has consulted on over 32 political campaigns, with an all-time victory rate of 92% — having helped elect several dozen prominent officials at every level of government. Prior to founding the firm, David served as the director of policy at the North Carolina General Assembly, where he directed policy and budget matters on behalf of House leadership. David has also served at the federal level as an aide to the U.S. House Committee on Ways & Means, and at the local level as an appointed member of various boards.
