In 2017, he again provided communications counsel and marketing communications to the corporate M&A team -- supported by Credit Suisse -- to sell the business to Genesis Energy L.P. For more than three decades, he has developed and executed award-winning corporate communications programs for a number of leading Fortune 500 companies, including Ford Motor Company, IBM, Corning, General Motors, Entergy, FMC, Tronox and Genesis Energy. He is a story teller and problem solver with a deep understanding of how to distill issues into pragmatic actions and messages. He has provided C- Suite executives with strategic communication counsel in diverse areas such as issues and crisis management, corporate reputation, employee and labor relations, governmental and regulatory affairs, employee engagement, corporate branding and advertising, social media, community presence, and philanthropy.He began his career on the agency side in Washington, D.C. providing public affairs and lobbying support to a number of leading Japanese and U.S.-based multinational corporations. Since that time, he has lived and worked on the East Coast, Midwest, South and now the Mountain West. David holds a bachelor's degree in communications from American University, an MBA from The University of New Hampshire and has attended leadership development programs at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
