About David Carey

There are no short-cuts, no simple pathways to excellence. Challenging goals are not achieved by accident. Understanding how people develop and grow has inspired me throughout my life. I am an experienced talent development expert. I help organizations, teams, and individuals to find and develop their pathway to accomplish seemingly unattainable goals. I work with people at all stages of their career and from different backgrounds, creating programs for entry level employees, new managers, and seasoned executives. I was selected to partner with a senior executive to facilitate a cohort of officers through four separate offerings of an Executive Development Program in partnership with Harvard University. I created resources to assist automotive repair centers to prepare leaders to interview, hire, on board, and train entry level automotive collision technicians.I am passionate about helping individuals and teams break through frustration and remove barriers to success. I am an expert in experiential learning, taking groups through challenging team building exercises where they worked together and learned about themselves and each other. It was through this work I learned much about team dynamics and effective communication. I have led large teams of facilitators and instructional designers across different industries, creating and executing impactful and innovative talent development strategies.
