Part of the founding team with a large focus on supporting the long-term vision, capital raising, product development, strategic partnerships, and product market fit.

David started with USI Insurance Services, a leading national insurance broker, in 2007 and quickly developed into one of the top forward-thinking and strategic professionals in the industry. He specialized in companies that were growing, changing, or subject to new laws and regulations. Over the course of David's career, he became increasingly involved in supporting clients through complex transactions, due diligence exercises and a variety of special situations where insurance becomes involved. While building his career at USI, he was widely viewed as one of the rising stars within the marketplace and a future leader in the industry. David began his career in USI’s Corporate office where he supported USI's corporate finance team. There he traveled to various USI operating companies across the nation to ensure proper procedures were being followed; especially as it related to acquisitions and Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) compliance.David has been very active within the NYC nonprofit community. He sits on various Board and Development Boards for area nonprofits. He was formerly part of the leadership team with nycTIES, an all volunteer non-profit that helps support several area charities. Prior to USI, David owned and operated his own business while he played hockey professionally. He received a B.A. in Marketing and Sociology from Providence College. Originally from Minnesota, David currently resides in Manhattan.

Essentially co-ran the HR function of our all-volunteer nonprofit; including managing a group of 5-8 people. My role is also centered around contributing to the strategic direction of the organization.
