Initiate, develop, implement, administer and review contemporary Human Resource policies and procedures within the Orange Ex-Services’ Club, Mercure Hotel, Orange Ex-Services’ Country Club and Wentworth Golf Club in accordance with statutory requirements and organisational strategic plan objectives.Oversee the day to day management of Human Resources administration including , industrial relations and instruments, workforce and succession planning, recruitment, employee review and development, performance management systems, training and employee development opportunities, Equal Opportunity, club policies and procedures, workplace health and safety including Workers Compensation and Injury Management.

Responsible for the Functions Department, management of 11 function rooms, functions staff, shows and entertainment calendar and advertising across all three mediums.Identifying target markets and creating tailored programs to attract them.Promote market and raise the profile of the Functions facility.Financial reporting on departmental performance including profit and loss reports for Functions and Entertainment and compiling month end reports.Generate promotional material including brochures, flyers, and advertisements including scripts and live radio broadcasts.Conduct sales oriented tours and open days.Planning activities and the Entertainment Calendar.Entertainment contract interpretation and ratification.Receiving calls emails relating to Function enquiries and forwarding quotes and promotional materials. Restructured department and introduced Supervisors and Coordinators.Increased margins through cost reduction analysis and supplier negotiations.Secured lucrative corporate clients including key local, interstate and nationally based companies on a repeat patronage basis.Hosted an average of 26 weddings per year over a seven year period.
