Duties consist of forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and executing the mission of the Department under a $350 million portfolio. This responsibility includes interpretation of legislative and regulatory impacts and execution analysis of programmatic funding. The position entails a working knowledge of the regulatory and political climate.

Guided a team in providing financial and advisory support for the Office of the Undersecretary for Transportation Policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Duties consisted of budget formulation, budget execution, financial analyses, financial modeling, congressional/departmental/OMB data calls, prior year recovery analyses, and systems migration/implementation. The engagement also involved acquisition support requiring knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to support the needs of multiple programs. Knowledge of commercial aviation and congressional authorization language was required to construct detailed justifications and apply economic variables to program funding requests.
