As an Economic Research Assistant, I conducted rigorous data analysis using advanced statistical software. I collaborated with a team to synthesise complex economic data into comprehensive reports, to improve stakeholder understanding and engagement. As the honorary treasurer of the club, I led the financial upkeep of the club, supervising its transactions, and keeping accurate records. To do this, I updated record-keeping protocols and significantly improved the club's capacity to use tools, such as Xero for transaction reconciliation and accounting. In addition, I spearheaded the club's VAT registration and the associated changes that were required. Paying salaries, advising the committee, and identifying prospects for revenue production were among the other responsibilities.

As a PRGX placement student, I was in charge of auditing a significant UK retail client's sales and purchase data. Using sophisticated software in addition to Excel and Microsoft Access, I cross-checked sales and purchase data against contractual agreements to identify gaps and missed lump sum payments. When anomalies were uncovered, I worked with client managers and suppliers to provide information packets and recover lost cash. The position required experience working with large data sets and under time restrictions. I improved my interpersonal communication abilities by regularly speaking with external stakeholders. Internally, I provided periodic reports to a larger team, communicating audit progress and monthly accomplishments.
