I have maintained a passion for the outdoors and sports throughout my life. I was privileged to complete an apprenticeship and later a diploma in Sports Turf Management. I spent several years hands-on as a supervisor of 20 staff where my focus was maintaining all Amenity and Sports parks in Hamilton. I spent three years as the Contracts Supervisor for Hamilton's Sports Parks which enabled me to move into the Events arena at Waikato Stadium and Seddon Park. My time as Venue Manager had seen us strengthen a well rounded team of experts capable of securing and running a multitude of successful events include the Rugby World Cup 2011, All Blacks international matches, Super Rugby semi and finals, international cricket at all major levels including test matches, T20's, and One-dayers. We have also hosted Nitro Circus, the Warriors, and domestic sport. Waikato Stadium has garnered a reputation as one of the best, if not the best turf surface in the Southern Hemisphere.My current role has seen a shift into providing Synthetic Sports Surfaces for all Sporting varieties, amenity lawns, landscaping and playgrounds.
