Over the past decade I have had the privilege of creating and managing a team of relationship managers, portfolio managers, compliance specialists and treasury management sales that focused on building deep, broad relationships with over 750 commercial banking clients in the United States. As a team, we consistently achieved our financial goals within a prudently structured risk management framework despite the challenges and changes that have and continue to shape this industry. Among the achievements during this period:• We redesigned the business strategy by shifting the focus of the group both geographically and by asset size to become a national provider of financial services to large community banking organizations as well as mid cap/large cap firms.• I led team efforts to drive new revenue and relationship opportunities through expanded product set with a particular focus on capital markets services such as DCM, derivatives and foreign exchange. • Developed new marketing channels to support strategic realignment and other product initiatives.

Over an 18 year career with Citigroup, I held a number of positions beginning as an individual contributor (relationship manager) focused on European financial institutions and ending as a relationship management group leader centering on firms that served as financial intermediaries. Both roles required extensive coordination with global partners both within and outside of the organization in order to deliver a seamless customer experience across multiple political, economic and regulatory environments. In both regards, consistently achieved both quantitative and qualitative goals, expanded relationships through geographic and product cross sell, developed strong personal relationships with key decision makers and established a passion for product innovation.

After completing an 8 month intensive training program, I took on relationship management responsibilities within the FI European Group where I focused on a broad range of major banking clients. Primary efforts were on deepening relationships through active calling both in US and in Europe in order to support cross sell of wide range of transactional and credit/capital market products.
