Studio C Pittsburgh was conceptualized and designed by Cyndi and son David Casteel from October 2012 – January 2015A Paper Mill Factory on 14 acres with over 160,000 square feet. The duo completely renovated the factory into a modern studio facility for large and small budget films, television commercials, video gaming and events. Studio C Pittsburgh includes (5) sound stages, (2) luxury green rooms, (2) commissary set kitchens (2) full warehouse storage areas, (14) executive suites, a cigar suite, production offices with amenities, full service salon, loading docks with forklifts, drive-thru capabilities and 10,000 square foot event area with VIP screening room. The team designed and developed all stages and offices and secured over 14 industry resources, 12 permanent tenants and expected the facility to have substantial economic impact in the entertainment industry in the state of Pennsylvania. The state-of-the-art facility included state required amenities to boost the attraction to Pittsburgh for national television series to enhance the regions film industry.
