Digital Horizons was a highly innovative, year-long course, created by SEMN (South East Media Network) along with partners: Screen South, Wired Sussex and Skillset, with support from SEEDA (South East England Development Agency), together sharing the vision that leading digital media practitioners and companies will be able to meet, learn and share their areas of expertise, thereby allowing them to fully explore, develop and capitalise on all the opportunities that cross-platform digital media affordsResponsibilities included:• Creation and management of all marketing materials and web design and logo.• Liaising closely with, and managing the sub-contract relationship with, the two delivery partners (Screen South & Wired Sussex) to ensure the smooth planning and organisation of each training event• Preparing and distributing a monthly e-mail communication to participants over the 12 month period of the programme updating them on past and future events• Overseeing the peer-to-peer mentoring programme and the operation of the participant online forum including all event and background information.• Promoting those events open to the wider industry i.e., beyond programme participants, and arranging a payment system as appropriate• Full financial responsibilities for all aspects of the course and its management.• Keeping a regular running open dialogue with SEEDA throughout the course• Preparing and managing progress updates for the Project Advisory Group meetings • Managing Advisory Group Meetings and the training events themselves.• Appointment and liaison with external course evaluators (BOP)

Responsibilities include:• Establishing and maintaining relationships with UK Film Council, Skillset, PACT, BECTU, RSA's and many other industry organizations / companies nationally and internationally • The creation and management of all aspects of finance and budgets for the NPA and it’s associated, courses.• Identifying, implementing and monitoring fundraising for core activities and specific projects. • Responsible for development and implementation of the aims and objectives of the NPA.• Representing and promoting the NPA to press and other media. • Providing the NPA presence at selected film festivals both nationally and internationally. • Day to day liaison with directors, producers, writers and key industry figures. • Key strategist for the business development of the organisation.• Key developer of training initiatives and business collaboration and exploitation.
