Leadership resulted in 18 awards, 1 MAP and SOQ selection, 4 extensions, 41 college credit hours and 22 PME courses. As sole CENTCOM enlisted Infection Control Officer, restructured the processing of all medical management of hazardous waste across Northern Iraq and Syria CJOA. Implemented local change to vital base assets on cleaning policies increasing preparedness and base readiness directly minimizing potential threat of infection.Led an Infection Prevention and Control Site Visit that resulted in “Best Practice” award for the Command. Coordinated with Base Operations while leading a 20 member team in the creation of 4 quarantine/isolation areas in preparation for global pandemic that resulted in 128 mild to moderate isolation beds that quadrupled ICU capabilities for CJTF personnel. Served as COVID19 Preparedness Coordinator by ensuring personnel had specialized training, PPE, ventilators, and medical supplies.
