Rwanda Aid works in the South West corner of Rwanda, an extremely poor and needy region. It has two main aims: one is to bring relief to those who are struggling, especially widows and widowers, orphans, the disabled, the sick and the elderly; the other is to help the people through schooling and training to be in a better position to help themselves. The following are key aspects of the way we operate: Rwanda Aid is a small charity. It works closely with the local community and government to identify the most pressing problems. It then designs and pilots neat and innovative solutions to those problems, solutions which are so effective that they are adopted and replicated by the community and governmentIt has built a highly professional and dedicated team of Rwandan managers who run the projects on a day to day basis and who are accountable to the CEO and the TrusteesThere are ten Trustees with a wide range of expertise and experience.
