A senior role at the University to head up sustainability activities relating to Climate Change Adaptation, Energy, Water, Waste and Travel and Transport. The role facilitates and supports delivery of the University's ambition to be a net-zero, climate resilient organisation by 2040 or earlier.Responsibilities include - energy and carbon emissions; water management; climate change mitigation and climate adaptation; sustainable travel and transport, waste and environmental compliance, staff and student engagement and sustainable labs.

Monitoring and targeting of energy consumption and carbon emissions on Strathclyde University's John Anderson campus. Working alongside project engineers to achieve energy savings and sustainable development around campus. Projects include Salix loan funded energy and carbon saving projects. Potential implementation of renewable technologies to reach targets.
