With twenty-four years’ experience in the Mining Industry, specifically in bulk commodities Coal and Iron Ore, I have occupied a diverse set of roles providing me with experience in leadership and hands-on management of maintenance, mining and processing operations. This includes five years as Site Senior Executive (SSE) accountable for statutory obligations as per the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations. In these roles I have led multi-disciplinary teams of up to 300 people and been accountable for budgets in excess of $200M per annum, always with a focus on safety and the environment, volume, performance, value creation, quality, cost and culture. In addition to my broad experience and knowledge, I have a strong track record in being an innovative, agile, performance orientated and inclusive leader allowing me to assess requirements and then in collaboration with and through both internal and external stakeholders deliver on business objectives.
