Managing NHB’s signature festivals – the Singapore Heritage Festival (SHF) and the Singapore Night Festival (SNF) – and precinct development of the Bras Basah Bugis area.First launched in 2004, SHF is an annual platform that presents lesser-known stories about Singapore’s shared spaces and ways of life. Through trails, open houses and performances, the festival enables Singapore’s diverse communities to share their stories and showcase different aspects of Singapore’s culture and heritage.SNF takes place in the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct over two weekends annually, and is well-loved for its light art installations, street performances and roving acts.

Secondment to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage division in the Culture Sector, handling capacity building, education and policy matters.UNESCO’s Intangible Heritage Section assumes the function of the Secretariat is of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (c.f. Article 10), and is working with all Member States of UNESCO, including those not party to the Convention. The work of the Secretariat is performed under the authority of the Director-General and in accordance with the Approved Programme and Budget adopted by the Organization’s General Conference.

Secondment to MCCY covering policy matters relating to the heritage and museum sector, in preparation for a UNESCO secondment posting.The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) seeks to inspire Singaporeans through the arts and sports, strengthen community bonds, and promote volunteerism and philanthropy. Major responsibilities included curating 8 major museum exhibitions ranging from solo surveys to thematic group exhibitions, curator for Singapore, Malaysia and China contemporary art and artist development, museum acquisition overall coordination, museum planning and corporate strategy.Opened in January 1996, the mission of the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is to preserve and present the art histories and contemporary art practices of Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.
