David(Jung-Goo) Cho received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Taejon, Korea, in 1988 and 1992, respectively. From 1993 to 1994, he was with the Virginia Power Electronics Center (VPEC), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, as a Visiting Research Scientist. From 1994 to 2002, he had been with Power Electronics Research Division, Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), Changwon, as a Senior Researcher. From 1998 to 1999, he has been an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KAIST. He founded the Green Power Corporation, a wireless power specialized company in 1998 and has served as CEO up to now. His primary areas of research interest include wireless power for material handling equipments, wireless charger for mobile, electric vehicle, electric bus, electric truck, etc. He has served as an Editorial Member for the Journal of KIPE and the Journal of Electrical Engineering (JEEIS). Dr. Cho is a Vice President of the Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE). He is a member of IEEE.
