I am a fresh graduate out of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak with experience from internships with Crowe Malaysia PLT, gaining knowledge from the Accounting, Audit, and Advisory departments. I assisted my senior colleagues with audit engagements in Kuching and Samarahan, and additionally assisted the Advisory department with a liquidation job in 2023. This gave me a different perspective between learning accounting vs applying it in real world circumstances. I also experienced working independently at a client's office, issuing delivery orders and assisting the Advisory team on inventory valuation for an in liquidation firm. I also got to practice my interpersonal skills when communicating and carrying out directives from the liquidation managers to the rest of the staff. Besides that, I had a 1 month administrative internship with Swinburne's Faculty of Business, Design, and Arts tasked with scheduling meetings for the faculty, as well as collecting data for scheduling peer-tutoring classes for students. I was also tasked with communication between faculty staff and external partners relating to current projects undertaken by the faculty. Communication played an important role and made effort to ensure clarity in my communications. A lot of my effort was built through leadership roles I have taken since primary school from being class prefect to accepting the President and Vice President roles for the Rotaract Club of SEGi College Sarawak, and SEGi's Student Representative Council. This has taught me the importance of responsibility but also has connected me with many wonderful people who through teamwork, can make club events or projects a success. With that, I am open to seeking new experiences and gain knowledge to further build my character and expertise in the continually evolving job market.
