Balad, Iraq

Coordinated, planned, and oversaw logistical support operations for a forward deployed military intelligence battalion operating from Basra in the south of Iraq to Forward Operating Base Heider on the Turkish border. Planned and supervised the execution of the Battalion movement from Camp Williams, Utah to the Iraqi theater of Operation. • Planned and supervised the packing, shipping documentation, and movement of all battalion equipment from home station to Balad , Iraq, maintaining 100 percent accountability of $50 million dollars in military equipment• In a budget-constrained environment and downsizing period, developed a network of contacts on Balad Airbase that allowed the battalion to obtain $50,000 dollars of expendable supplies at no cost to the unit, thus saving taxpayer money and freeing up funds for more pressing requirements•Served as the Battalion Contracting officer and Unit Movement Officer• Served as the Battalion Maintenance Officer• Coordinated all vehicle maintenance for a fleet of over 50 MRAPs that supported 36 intelligence teams and four companies

Coordinated, planned, and oversaw global and intelligence-related language training for the 300th Military Intelligence Brigade Linguists throughout the continental United States. Personally reviewed, validated, and prioritized subordinate battalion funding requirements and prepared brigade-level budget submissions.
