Elanders are a global communications agency delivering digital and printed projects to prestige clients who include Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley Motors and Tesco. I am responsible for the activities and operations of several inter-related IT departments based across multiple UK sites which handle both internal requirements and external customer delivery. With a central focus on pre and post-sales support, my remit covers key customer consultations through to systems integration and implementation. I also support operations in remote locations where corporate networks and systems are functional. For our UK territory, I am accountable for annual IT budget planning, human resource and physical facilities of the departments. Working with the Elanders Group, I collaborate with Elanders colleagues across 9 different countries in order to deliver IT development programmes and client projects which require global IT support.

The Lettershop Group are one of the leading print marketing and mailing solution providers in Europe. In a varied and demanding role, I gained a wealth of experience working on in-house and customer facing projects, including the successful implementation of year 2000 compliance on the legacy business system. I was responsible the development, design and production of a wide range of company specific applications, including relational database management systems and the production of detailed customer reports on mailing response statistics. Working predominantly with Visual Basic 6 software, I also had excellent exposure to Sybase SQL Anywhere (Transact and Watcom SQL), Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Active X and API programming which included external vendor API's such as de-duplication and address correction.
