PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:Effectively and profitably manage Plant operations in accordance with the location’s business plan. Support policies, goals and objectives of Panhandle Milling.RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible and accountable for the overall management of the Mill, Maintenance, PLW, lab, sanitation and Elevator departments via the department managers and supervisors. Participate in developing the business plan for the division. Develop growth and sustainability strategy with plant management team. Motivate and manage staff through objectives, coaching and mentoring in regards to plant operations. Provide assistance to AVP Milling as needed. Responsible for meeting all plant and corporate objectives for safety, food safety, operational and financial performance. Collaborates with peers inside and outside the facility and represents Panhandle Milling in a professional manner.

Responsible for overall operations, logistics, safety in the Elevator. Responsibilities include adhering to monthly budgets/P&L. Development of personal. Monitoring inbound grading. Ensure proper inventory quality practices are in place to preserve quality of stored grain, including fumigation, drying, and aeration. Managing projects. Overseeing Shuttle Train load-outs. Managing Mix and Blend during train loading. Scheduling monthly PM and maintenance activities in the Elevator. Maintaining proper housekeeping standards. Upholding Scoular's safety policies and principles for all employees.

Responsible for entire Plant Operations over 2 facilities including but not limited to scheduling, production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, 5-S, and safety. Created Annual Budgets, Managed 5-S organization, Set up and created maintenance plans in ALM, Set up and created sanitation plans in ALM (SAP). Managed Capital Projects. Managed FI(Focus Improvement Projects).

Responsible for entire Plant Operations including but not limited to scheduling, production, maintenance, sanitation, 5-S, and safety. Created plant budget for all departments. Managed Capital Projects.

Responsible for plant production and scheduling – Packaging, Warehouse, Bulk, and Elevator. Responsible for plant safety and ensuring that we met production/safety requirements. Used SAP for inventory management.

Responsible for all activities in the warehouse from loading van trailers, railcars, and organization/sanitation of the warehouse. Ensuring all loads going out met customer/internal quality standards while performing in the safest manner possible. Ordered and maintained inventory levels.

Responsible for production/safety/maintenance in the elevator. Ensuring all components were blended consistently and in spec. going to the mill. Set up routine maintenance/PM schedule.

Responsible for Kingsford Brand Charcoal Packaging – Line operator responsible for palletizer operation, product movement, forklift operation/inspections, safety and facility packaging maintenance.Accomplishments:• Trained in Facility Packaging Line maintenance – Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, etc.• Lead Shutdown maintenance teams to rebuild line operations units annually.• Trained as Assistant Line technician responsible for line leadership and packaging operations.• Implemented World Class Mfg. strategy to improve line reliability and efficiency.• Trained in SAP logistics and inventory management systems.
