Performed and inspected over 3500 microminiature solder repairs on aircraft equipment which included the removal and replacement of surface mounted devices, integrated circuit chips, multilayer conductors and laminates, illuminated panels, flex print, cannon plugs and wiring harnesses. Bench tested, operated, maintained and repaired avionics systems; radar and tactical displays, IFF/SIF transmitters and receivers, radar altimeters, Doppler navigation, laser and fiber-optic equipment, and infrared devices. Developed and utilized Huntron Gold/Silver disc programs for circuit card analysis, module testing and in-depth troubleshooting.
