My name is David Clower. I am an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-starting student studying History at the University of Virginia. My time at the University of Virginia has allowed me significant development in critical reading comprehension and thinking, information extraction, concise yet compelling writing, as well as a wealth of history knowledge to draw from when utilizing these skills in the workplace. I am seeking a full-time position as middle or high school teacher focusing on history. However, I am open to any other positions for which you may find my skills useful. My other areas of experience including music and photography. I am eager and open to new experiences!These eclectic experiences and positions I’ve held in various organizations within and outside of the University of Virginia have allowed me to develop significant leadership, teamwork, and public speaking skills. These skills, coupled with my interaction and necessary communications across a vast amount of individuals from different walks of life, each with their own unique personality characteristics, makes me an asset to any team. Whether I am a teammate or a leader, I strive to position my peers and students to perform at their peak potential.
