Logistics Team Lead for RAPSO Imaging Ltd, a photography company that holds the position as the official photographer for the current, and previous, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. My most recent duties have involved liaising with various Chiefs of Staff and Officers in service of Her Excellency for official, national, and diplomatic events. As the planning and logistics person, my role was to ensure that RAPSO had what was needed to photograph Her Excellency, her guests, and the events themselves, while also maintaining a working knowledge of diplomatic protocols to adhere to. The main events that I have worked on to date are the Trinidad and Tobago National Awards (x2), and formal diplomatic dinners for Her Excellency, foreign ambassadors, and Heads of State.

Designed and opened my own lounge and nightclub, Studio Rumours, where I was the owner and manager on site on a daily basis. My duties included stock-taking, placing and receiving orders, scheduling and training staff, introducing new food and beverage items, creating employee handbook, menu design, reconciling the end of night takings, interacting with customers, payroll, hiring and firing, and complying with local governmental legislative bodies regarding required permits (Magistrate's Court, Health, Police, Fire, and Customs).

In the summer of 2003, I spent a month in Xi'an, China as a caregiver for mentally and physically impaired children via the NGO, Cross-Cultural Solutions. Alongside a trained professional, my duties primarily included working on physical coordination through games and physiotherapy, and teaching the children arts and crafts (such as origami).This experience was one of those life-changing ones you hear people talk about. Most of the children had significant cognitive challenges, especially with speech. Combined with a lack of common language to begin with, communication was a daily barrier to forge, but it only proved to me that you don't always need traditional methods to communicate effectively.
