David M. Colajezzi joined First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard LLC on January 2, 2017 as SVP, Internal Audit. In this role, Mr. Colajezzi served as the organization’s Chief Audit Executive reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors with responsibility for carrying out the mission of Internal Audit as outlined in the Board/Audit Committee approved Internal Audit Charter. This included providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve operations for First PREMIER Bank, United National Corporation, PREMIER Bankcard Holdings, LLC, PREMIER Bankcard, LLC and PREMIER Nevada, LLC (“PREMIER”).David has over 29 years of experience in financial services and served in executive level internal audit and senior operational roles for leading financial institutions in the U.S. and abroad. In addition to serving as the Chief Auditor for First PREMIER, he served as the Chief Audit Officer for Flagstar Bank in Troy, Michigan and prior to that he served as the Head of Internal Audit for CIBC Mellon in Toronto, Canada. He has also served as Managing Director, Internal Audit for BNY Mellon and Internal Audit Director for PNC Bank. In addition to his Internal Audit leadership roles, David also served as Director of Shareholder Services for Janus Funds in Denver, Colorado and in Austin, Texas; and as Director of Middle Office Operations for SEI Investments in Oaks, Pennsylvania.David is a U.S. Air Force veteran, and holds a Master of Arts in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College. Mr. Colajezzi holds the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) designations. He has served as a volunteer for Junior Achievement, Forgotten Harvest, and as a United Way Heart Club member. In addition, he is a member of the Upper Uwchlan Township, PA Planning Commission, and as Board Member for the following: the Sioux Falls, SD Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Art Serving Humanity (ASH, a Chicago based non-profit), and the Courts at Byers Station located in Chester Springs, PA.
