About David Collins

Leading ATE team as senior director of ATE Test group WW. Supporting all automotive product. including but not limited to Controllers, Carplay, PMIC, Radar, LiDar, Vision, Ultrasonic sensors, Detector, ADAS, Cameras, Interior Lighting, Wireless chargers.I lead a team of test engineers delivering characterization and production solutions on ATE and custom systems. My background is on many ATE systems but currently using Advantest 93K. I lead team driving DFT and high multisite solutions delivering world class production efficiency and cost of test.Other testers I have used or managed test engineers with, LTE Trillium, Credence SC212, Valstar, Duo, Quartet, Sapphire, ASL3000, Uflex Epsilon, Uflex Zeta, Ultraflex Plus, 93K PSRF, and 93K WSRF.As ATE director at Qualcomm, I have driven RF requirements and ATE roadmaps of Teradyne and Advantest. Current focus is on mobile 5G sub 6 and mmW solutions.,Other interests: IOT, Solar systems, home DIY (electrical, plumbing, tiling, roofing).
