Visiting customers as and when needed to update and explain what is going to be done and how and when we are going to do the job and to reassure them .Trying to keep the west sewerage network flowing to its full capacity. Arrange plant hire and off hiring . Carrying out yard depot and site health and safety inspections . Dealing and sorting yard stock and suppliers . Asking for temporary work designs and structural reports and liaison with structural engineers to show how we want and need to do the job . Moved onto burst detection and flow meter installations now , organising site set ups , health and safety on all aspects of the work to done . Show less

Keeping my sites up to a health and safety standard , concentrating on the sewer side of wessex water , general matrix of the up keeping of the sewerage network , anything from general sewer spills to burst rising mains up to 6 metres deep , construction of manholes/ chambers and relaying damaged sewer pipes . Electric contract , laying , relaying electric mains cables for western power electric company , trench work , tarmacing and overhead cables but mainly under ground , tarmacing ,concreting, modular reinstatement .
