I am excited to take on the role of digital art and animation teacher at Connally High School in the Pflugerville School District. My primary goal as a teacher is to provide my students with a creative and engaging learning experience that allows them to explore their artistic abilities while developing essential skills that will serve them beyond my classroom.In my new position, I will be responsible for teaching digital art and animation courses to high school students. This will involve developing lesson plans and curricula incorporating various tools and techniques for digital art and animation and providing guidance and support to students as they work on their projects.I am particularly excited about the opportunity to work at Connally High School, which has a reputation for excellence in the arts and an incredibly supportive community. As a CTE instructor, I have taught Video Game Design, Arts, Digital Media, and Communications for over a decade. UX stands for User Experience and is a branch of game design that focuses on the final players' psychology, behavior, and thinking processes. Creating a high-quality user experience (UX) is a vital skill set on LinkedIn's top ten most in demand. In this growing field, UX designers decide how the apps and websites we use daily work and behave. UX Certifications available to our at-risk high school students are linked to the certifications in the Arts, Digital Media, Communication, and Information Technology industries. In addition to learning how to plan, map, and test digital experiences of all kinds, students also learn how to use them. They continue to develop knowledge about information architecture, product design, software, tools, user interface design, design research, and interaction design.
