Implemented and administered an aggressive training and certification program in support of the Naval Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) Material Inspections throughout the LCAC fleet. Developed instructions, test criteria, system checklists, and inspection guidance to successfully complete 14 INSURV inspections. An established Team leader for the LCAC Training Team (LCCTT), a superlative operational training organization responsible for effectively training, qualifying, and certifying three six-craft detachments annually in all phases of Unit, shipboard Interface, Naval Support Element, and Fleet Response Plans in support of forward – deployed operations. Provided certification requirements and exercises including critical data collection programs which resulted in a successful training program to Fleet Forces and the Type Commander still in effect today, saving the Navy over $25M dollars in Manpower, Planning, Training research and development costs, including organic operational training resources.
